Anime invades iflix

Affordable non-pirated streaming of your favorite anime is now slowly becoming a possibility as anime invades iflix.   The world's leading Internet TV service for emerging markets which offers users unlimited access to thousands of TV shows, movies and more is now trying to outbeat its competitors by offering more and more anime series and soon anime OVAs and movies.

“In the coming months, Filipinos can expect more of their favorite local, regional and international titles as we work aggressively towards growing our extensive library for our members not only in the Philippines, but throughout Southeast Asia” says iflix Philippines Content Head, Karen Zabaljauregui

Starting the anime invasion in iflix are classic and popular titles like Voltes V, Daimos, Hunter X Hunter, Fairy Tail, Akame Ga Kill, Attack on Titan, No Game No Life and more.  Besides these Japanese anime series they also offer other favorites like Avatar and Huntik, a local animated series.

“iflix is committed to bringing our Filipino members a wide variety of the best entertainment available. Iconic Anime series like Voltes V and Daimos have been huge fan favorites from the moment they first aired. Having them both available on iflix along with a selection of other popular titles is incredibly exciting,” Zabaljauregui added.

Anime on iflix

"Animaniacs" as iflix calls the collection is made by possible through an agreement with Telesuccess Production, Inc.  So far there are about 27 titles now being streamed and some of them are in their original Tagalog dubbed while others are in their original Japanese format.  Specifically Voltes V, Daimos, Hunter X Hunter, Fairy Tail, and Tenjo Tenge are offered in their original Tagalog dubbed format except for Voltes V which is additionally available in English (dub).

This is an exciting development for iflix and we hope that there will be more anime titles soon.  We are also hoping that they will be in their original Japanese release.  We think that more anime fans will enjoy watching them if they are just subbed in English and in Japanese dub.  Looking forward to this development in the future.
