Anime Manila Ichi Pop

Talk about a new concept when it comes to events and this one is definitely something that you should come and see. ICHI POP is the first industrial/steampunk themed anime pop-up event in Manila. Right now we are already imagining what the setup would be and we are very excited.

The main objectives of the organizers are:

to create a new experiential event for anime enthusiasts, cosplayers, and Japanese culture fans, and
to provide a new platform for cosplayers and artists, whether visual or performing arts, where creativity and innovation is encouraged.

What's New with Ichi Pop?

The event will be divided into five (5) main parts:

COSPLAY RAMP. From the diverse and motley characters of the Animeverse, cosplayers grace the stage to showcase their gimmicks and theatrics.
ICHI POP IDORU. Japanese idol inspired groups wow the audience.
VICTORIAN PROM. Travel back in time through the eloquent 19th century themed cosplayers.
MECHA MANIA. Gear towards the futuristic innovation of well crafted mechanical costumes.
KIMOCHI BEATS. Finally, sing along to the latest and timeless anime tunes.

Ichi Pop will be held at Riverside Studios Makati. The facility is a Hollywood backout-style compound with four studios, we do not know if how many studios they will occupy. It will be on November 18, 2018 (Sun) 10 AM - 8 PM and admission is Php250 per person.
