Cosplayers and con enthusiasts this is your chance to not only cosplay and watch your favorite cosplayers compete and perform but also to help out the Philippine National Red Cross. Primacy Events Organizer is staging a charity cosplay event to benefit the Pasig chapter of the Red Cross on October 4, 2013 from 6pm – 9pm at Tanghalang Pasigueno.
Tanghalang Pasigueno is an outstanding venue for a cosplay event for it has top of the arts facilities from sounds and lights, to sitting and even the huge stage. Performance for cosplayers will really be like performing on a world class stage where concerns are held with the possibility of using spotlight on stage and off stage.
Primacy events is welcoming competitors from everywhere who are aged 12 years and above. They will compete for 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place each being given P5,000, P3,500 and P1,500 respectively. They will also be given certificates and gift items. All participants will also receive certificates and some gift items from them.
Although the organizers are relatively new in the field of organizing events their tenacity for reaching out to charities like Red Cross and ensuring a perfect stage performance by the cosplayers were amazing. They are even willing to meet up with cosplay participants one-on-one just to discus about their technical needs.
Cosplayers will be judged according to Costume Accuracy, 40%; Performance, 40%; Charity Power, 10%; and Audience Impact, 10%. Among the judges for the event are famous female cosplayer Anj Moon; and Shigiro Duro, an Otakuhouse Cosplay Idol qualifier. The event will also be hosted by Master Pogi or Mr. Satan from Dragonball Z.
Battle for a Cause Cosplay Competition will be accepting entries until Friday, September 27, 2013. Jut follow and read the mechanics below to be guided when you register.
-REQUIREMENTS-
*ANY PARTICIPANTS THAT ARE WILLING TO JOIN COMING FROM DIFFERENT CITIES ARE QUALIFIED.
*CREATIVE AND ARTISTIC CONTESTANTS.
*HAS THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ABOUT THE COSPLAY.
*NO DEADLY AND FLAMMABLE PROPS OR MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CONTEST.
*AGE OF PARTICIPANTS IS 12 AND ABOVE.
*COSTUMES SHOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE PUBLIC VIEWING, LEWD IS INAPPROPRIATE.

1. THE COMPANY ONLY NEEDS 40 PARTICIPANTS.
2. ENTRIES CAN BE SUBMITTED ON THE COMPANY'S OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE: PRIMACY EVENT ORGANIZERS.
3. ENTRIES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ON AND BEFORE SEPTEMBER 27, 2013.
4. ENTRIES SHOULD BE ENCODED ON A SHORT BOND PAPER INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
*YOUR RECENT 2X2 PICTURES TO ATTACHED IN THE DOCUMENT.
*SHORT BACKGROUND INFORMATION (NAME, ADDRESS, AGE, PHONE/CELLULAR# AND SCHOOL/UNIVERSITY)

For those who want to watch and support their favorite cosplayers tickets are priced at P120. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be given to Red Cross. You can also costrip when you attend the event.
