COSPLAY EVENT: Misaki Christmas Convention


Every week there is something new to look forward to.  Just 3 days before Christmas don't forget to drop by at the MISAKI CHRISTMAS CONVENTION at Ever Gotesco Mall in at Ortigas Complex on December 22, 2012.  This is a first convention at the area and is the first ever event fully organized by two well respected cosplay shops, Devangelic Shop and Cosmic Bytes Cosplay Shop/

The event is named after one of the renowned chibi cosplayers, Ashley Misaki who had won various cosplay competition. Ashley Misaki Christmas Cosplay Competition is open to all Filipino citizens (by birth or naturalization) aged 4 – 13 for Chibi Category 14 and above for the Other Categories.  The prizes and categories are as follows:
  • Best Male - 3,000 in cash
  • Best Female - 3,000 in cash
  • Best Mecha/Armor - 3,000 in cash
  • Best Child - 2,000 in cash
  • Best Crossplayer - 2,000 in cash
  • Best Vocaloid Cosplayer - Prize to be announced ^^
  • Best Christmas Costume - wig from Cosmic Bytes Cosplay Shop
  • Best Costripper - surprise goodie bag from Devangelic
For those who want to PRE-REGISTER you can REGISTER AT THIS LINK or you can register on-site however according to the organizers slot will not be guaranteed so better pre-register.

Criteria for selecting the winner of every category includes Performance (40%,: Execution of Skit, creativity in action scenes, choreography and adherence to time limit;  Craftsmanship (40%): Costume accuracy, costume difficulty, innovativeness in use of materials and creativity in costume construction; and Overall Impact (20%). Appeal and total presentation of the character.

That's not all CONGOERS WILL ALSO GET A CHANCE TO WIN 3 CHERRY MOBILE PHONES!  That is just in time for Christmas right?  So prepare this weekend and go to Ever Gotesco Mall at Ortigas Complex.
