Vans teams up with anime series One Piece for first-ever collaborative series
Vans, the original action sports brand, and advocate for creative expression announces the partnership with the Japanese anime series One Piece today, coming together for a feast celebrating the great friendship with a collection of footwear and apparel.

The Vans x One Piece collection follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew to find One Piece, and fans can now rewind the stories through this release. Highlighting the lineup is Vans’ classic Sk8-Hi Punk Hazard featuring a 360-degree graphic that wraps from the lateral side of the shoe, representing the fireside of the island, to the medial side representing the frozen side. Each Straw Hat Crew shoe has dressed up in iconic Vans checkerboard patterns.

Another spotlight of the collection is the Vans Classic Old Skool featuring the infamous devil fruits which gave different superhuman powers to many of the characters in the story but at the same time made them incapable of swimming. The Vans Classic Authentic in this collection is inspired by the heritage Americana nautical style and features a jute fabric upper and all over embroidery with iconic One Piece symbols which pays tribute to the Straw Hat Cap.

The spirit of One Piece is also featured in the offering of Vans Skate Classics with the iconic Wanted posters of “Cat Burglar” Nami on the Skate Sk8-Hi in orange and the “Demon Child” Nico Robin in purple on the Skate Old Skool. Both styles feature the One Piece logo wrapping around the outsole.
Japanese artist Cookie! also joined forces with VANS to present the collection under his imagination and paid tribute to Vans’ “Off the Wall” spirit. The special release of Cookie! comes with hoodies and T-shirts that features One Piece’s all-time favorite character Chopper.
