Anime Japan 2020 Cancelled
The biggest anime and related content event in Japan is canceled. Anime Japan 2020 is officially not happening this year as announced on its official website due to fears of COVID-19.

Anime Japan 2020 is set to happen on March 21 - 24, 2020 and all preparations are done. However, with the growing amount of cases in Japan, the organizers decided to cancel it.More and more events are being canceled due to the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19. Do you think it will affect more events especially in the Philippines? Do events need to cancel?
With the spread of the “New Coronavirus Infection”, the government has announced a policy on self-restraint of events yesterday Wednesday, 26th February 26.
We decided to cancel the event in consideration of the safety of visitors who are anime fans and everyone involved in Anime Japan.
We apologize to the anime fans who were looking forward to the event and those who were preparing for the event.
This decision was made in order to prevent the spread of the infection.
