Real name: April Casio

Age: 19

Why do you cosplay?

I cosplay because I want to become the real-life version of my favorite anime/game character. Also it became my platform for socialization and this is where I share my craftsmanship and artistry to people with the same interest.

When did you start cosplaying?

I started cosplaying way back Jan 24, 2016 Otaku Expo.


What inspired you to cosplay?

Alodia inspired me a lot in cosplaying. She inspired me to become passionate and just have fun in everything you do.

What is your best experience in cosplaying?

My best experience in cosplaying so far is the McKinley Grand Christmas parade 2018. It was indeed the most memorable because lots of people especially children were so happy to see us Boku no Hero Academia cosplayers. I went as Mina Ashido (Pinky).

Any future plans or dream?

I want to attend international cosplay event someday.

What is your message to other cosplayers?

Just enjoy what you're doing and be an inspiration to other cosplayers. It doesn't matter if you are tall or short, black or white, thick or thin, what matters the most is that you love what you are doing, we love what we are doing - Cosplaying.
