FurryPinas 2018

FurryPinas 2018 on May 19-20, 2018 might just be the most unique fandom and convention that you will be able to attend to this year. This fandom is not just ordinary because it traverses across various other fandoms like movies, anime, toys and more. If you love an animal from a film, anime, tv show or game then you are probably a Furry as well.

What is FurryPinas 2018?

FurryPinas 2018 is organized by Philippine Furry Con Leaders Roundtable and is done for the benefit of Hands of God Charity Works. The event will be at SMX Convention Center on May 19-20 with a Retro Gaming theme.

The event started in 2014 as the first furry convention in South-East Asia, FurryPinas is the official and only furry convention in the Philippines with the vision of serving as the annual hub for furry or anthropomorphic media.

Among the missions of the event are:

To make the furry fandom a mainstream hobby for anybody
To showcase the local & international furry community
To assemble and bring out the community’s brightest talents

Why should you attend FurryPinas 2018?

If you are an artist, designer, Fursuiter, Cosplayer, a fan of movies, shows, toys, and other contents featuring anthro or humanized animals then you should not miss this event.

The event will be bring you various activities and features which you will surely love like.

Talks and Seminars. Series of talks and seminars ranging from visual arts, literature, music, performing arts, to sciences and other media. This offers great insights which adds amazing value to the attendees of the event.

Dealers Den. Indies, businesses, and other entities showcase their works and business to all the attendees through the Dealers Den and Sponsor’s Hall. This gives opportunity for them to directly cater to the community.

Contests. Different contests and tournaments involving different media such as arts, literature, dance, and music for attendees to bring out the potential of their talents and skills.

Dance and Performances. Dances, talent shows, and performances in the event entertain all attendees and at the same time showcasing the different talents of the community

Charity. Charity is always part of the community. Fundraising programs and activities will be held to give opportunities to attendees and stakeholders to raise funds for our partner charities for children and animal welfare.

Tabletop & Video Games Games. In line with our this year’s theme, FurryPinas 2018 will have a section for attendees to have a big selection of games. Attendees will be guided on how to play each game making sure foot traffic is being maintained throughout the event.

Furry Rave. Attendees bring out out their inner party animal as the event will have a rave party on the last night. Dance the night away and kick back with good company, and pump your fists to the beat of the music!

FurryPinas 2018 Guests

POCARI ROO. She will be the guest of Honor from Australia. Pocari Roo is an Australian furry fan and full-time YouTuber with over 100 videos on her channel and over 50,000 subscribers. She is primarily known for her Youtube channel where he does vlogs, music videos, how-tos, Q&As, and more, at a family friendly rating with primary focus on being positive, entertaining, and helpful.

BAPOGICHI. A fan of the furry hobby with over 40,000 followers, Bapogichi is a popular illustrator known for his various fanart of anime, webcomics, cartoons, and video games. He’s

also a moderator of the popular Buhay Kolehiyo that features personified versions of different universities in the Philippines.

The basic ticket known as NOVICE TICKET is only at Php115 (Early Bird Rate, Php150 onsite). You can purchase online via their website or at any SM Cinema/Ticket outlets nationwide.
