Anime Review: Lovehina

Many says that Lovehina is just for girls but I beg to differ. This would be a very short review for the patter of Anime Reviews that I would also be contributing here in partnership with our fellow Otakuplay author, Jan Manalang.

Lovehina tells the story of a promise made by two children that they would go together to Tokyo U. The boy who made that promise was Urashima Keitaro but he can't remember who the girl exactly is. This is his quest to find that girl and fulfill the promise.

I was introduced to Lovehina by a friend, Cliff Meriel. That is why when one of my good friends in BROOD, Allan Leung from Singapore told me that he would be sending some anime titles, I told him to include Lovehina.

When the anime titles arrived, I did watch Lovehina one episode after the other. It was addicting, funny, emotional and has lots of moral lesson. Of course there are those that will say that the anime is too sexy or too bulgar but come on, that bwill only happen if you put malice while watching it.

Lovehina thought me to love, how to value life, how to value friends and also how to be persevering. If you are looking for an anime that would make you laugh and learn a lot then I highly recommend Lovehina.

Here are some of the top music from Lovehina which I enjoyed while watching Keitaro Urashima, Naru Narusegawa, Mutsumi Otohime, Shinobu Maehara, Motoko Aoyama, Kaolla Su, and Mitsune "Kitsune" Konno.
