All aBOARD EXPO 2026 Unveils Expanded Battle Pass Experience with New VIP Quests and Junior Edition
All aBOARD EXPO 2026 introduces the most ambitious version of its signature Battle Pass system, offering attendees a larger game map, expanded progression mechanics, and new themed questlines designed for both seasoned players and newcomers.
Building on its successful debut, this year’s Battle Pass transforms the expo floor into an interactive journey where participants complete game tiles by either playing featured titles or purchasing them at partner booths.
A Larger, More Immersive Experience
The 2026 Battle Pass significantly expands the scale and depth of the experience, featuring a longer journey across a more densely packed game map. With more tiles, more participating brands, and a wider mix of titles, attendees will find themselves navigating a curated landscape of board gaming from family-friendly favorites to hobbyist standouts and new releases.
The updated layout encourages exploration across the entire expo venue, guiding players through different zones while still allowing complete freedom in how they progress. Whether attendees choose to map out an efficient route, revisit favorite booths, or discover hidden gems along the way, the Battle Pass rewards both planning and curiosity.
Integrated “skip zones,” partner booths, and branching paths further add layers of strategy, giving participants multiple ways to approach completion while maintaining the spirit of discovery that defines the expo experience.
Introducing VIP Questlines: Adarna and Bakunawa
This year also introduces elevated challenges through exclusive VIP tracks:
● Adarna Quest (Adarna Pass): Participants who complete the entire journey without skipping any tile will earn the Adarna Pin, recognizing full completion of the path.
● Bakunawa Track (Bakunawa Pass): Designed for advanced participants, this track requires completion of all stages alongside a dedicated Bakunawa route, culminating in the Bakunawa Pin.
These questlines draw inspiration from Filipino mythology, adding narrative depth and prestige to the experience.
A Return Favorite: Junior Battle Pass
Back by popular demand, the Junior Battle Pass returns after being a standout hit with young attendees in 2025.
Designed for kids aged 12 and below, the Junior Pass offers a more accessible journey with curated games and simplified objectives. Last year, young participants eagerly went from booth to booth, proudly collecting achievement stickers—a moment that became a highlight for many families at the expo.
With its return, the Junior Battle Pass continues to provide a fun, rewarding, and age-appropriate way for children to be part of the larger Battle Pass adventure.
Collect, Complete, and Wear Your Progress
A major highlight of this year’s Battle Pass is the introduction of new collectible rewards, designed to make progression even more tangible.
Participants will complete five stages, each corresponding to a unique die-cast pin—creating a full set that reflects their journey across the expo.
For those taking on the ultimate challenges, two additional pins await, one for the Adarna Quest and another for the Bakunawa Track. Together, these form a seven-pin collection, marking both completion and mastery.
Reward tiers are aligned with pass types. The VIP Pass Holders (Bakunawa, Adarna, Haribon), eligible to collect the full set of die-cast stage pins. On the other hand, the Binturong and Tamaraw Pass Holders will receive sticker versions of the stage rewards. These collectibles serve not just as prizes, but as wearable milestones of each participant’s journey through the expo.
Encouraging Exploration and Community Engagement
The Battle Pass system continues to serve as a core engagement feature of the expo, encouraging attendees to discover new games, interact with exhibitors, and support the board gaming ecosystem.
Participants may also choose to “speedrun” the experience, with select rewards available for early completion.
“The Battle Pass isn’t just about playing more games—it’s about experiencing the journey behind them,” said Hans Fernandez, Chief Meeple of Gaming Library. “We designed this to encourage discovery, from trying something new at the table to understanding the stories, mechanics, and creators behind each game. Whether you complete every tile or carve your own path, there’s something meaningful in that experience.”
