Dehya and Mika as New Playable Characters on Genshin Impact Version 3.5

HoYoverse announced today that Genshin Impact's Version 3.5, "Windblume's Breath," will be available on March 1st. The update will commemorate the Windblume Festival while also launching a new adventure deep within the Abyss Order. Meanwhile, two trustworthy characters, Dehya and Mika, have agreed to join the players' team.

As spring approaches the City of Mondstadt, the Windblume Festival returns with new challenges, rewards, and reunions for people to celebrate love and freedom. For a limited time, mini-games such as the rhythm game "Ballads of Breeze," the maze chase game "Floral Pursuit," and the photo-touring mode "Breezy Snapshots" will be available. Foreign visitors from Sumeru will also attend the festival. An adventure centered on a mysterious prophecy will begin when Collei returns to Mondstadt with Tighnari and Cyno.

New Playable Characters and Event Wish Banner Lineup

Two new characters with distinct fighting styles will be added to the playable roster. In battle, the legendary Eremite Dehya wields her massive claymore and Pyro's power. Dehya can use her Elemental Skill to create a fiery field that not only deals Pyro damage to enemies but also transfers some of the damage taken by her teammates to herself. Dehya casts aside her claymore and strikes her enemies with fists and a stylish kick with her Elemental Burst.

Mika is the Knights of Favonius' most active cartographer. He can not only use his polearm and Cryo's vision in combat, but he can also target enemies with a crossbow and increase the attack speed and physical damage of his teammates by using his Elemental Skill. With his Elemental Burst, this four-star character can also constantly assist teammates in regaining HP.

Cyno's rerun will be in the first half of Version 3.5's Event Wishes, while Mika's debut and Kamisayo Ayaka & Shenhe's rerun will be in the latter half. Dehya will make her debut in the Event Wish during the first half of the update and will join the Standard Wish after Version 3.6 concludes.

More Story and Event Updates

Version 3.5 will also provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about the new characters, old companions, and the Traveler themselves in Sumeru. Dehya's Story Quest and Faruzan's Hangout Event will reveal the characters' hidden pasts, and the Traveler will join forces with Dainsleif and Kaeya to learn more about their lost sibling and the Abyss Order.

As the game is updated, more add-on functions and optimizations will be added. Players will soon receive an additional Intertwined Fate for completing Archon Quests. The newly added Genius Invokation TCG will also receive updates, including three new Character Cards featuring Eula, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Kujou Sara, as well as another limited run of "Heated Battle Mode," which will reduce the amount of Elemental Dice required for playing cards and casting Character Skills.
