Japanese Band, Dios Releases Dark Pop Single, ‘Virtual Castle’

Japanese Pop-R&B influenced band, Dios has released their latest single, 'Virtual Castle'. The single is the focus track leading up to their debut album, 'CASTLE' which is slated to be released at the end of this month.

‘Virtual Castle’, is an electronic dark pop dance tune, one that is very much attuned to Dios’ music technicality with it’s melody line created by Dios’ member, Sasanomaly who has a deep knowledge of game music and is an active vocaloid.

Introducing DIOS

Formed in 2019, rising Japanese Pop-R&B influenced band DIOS is made up of a stellar feature of individual artists. This includes rapper, vocalist and lyricist, Tanaka (formerly known as Boku no Lyric no Bōyomi), guitarist Ichika Nito who currently helms the crown for the best guitarist in Japan, and beatmaker and gaming music composer, Sasanomaly.

The name DIOS is derived from Dionysus, the God of euphoria and drunkenness in Greek mythology, as well as a character from vocalist, Tanaka's favourite manga, 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'.

DIOS promises a deep-dive into a brand-new audiovisual experience -- one that compliments all 3 band members' individual sounds and music sensibilities, while creating a new expressive music palette that fits the dynamic and coherence that makes up the DIOS sound.
