JPop-JRock Music Encore: Kimi No Uta by Abingdon Boys School (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0)

What would you do if your place is hit by a magnitude 8 earthquake?  Hard question right?  Well, Japan is prone to that and this is the reason behind the anime Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.  This is so far dubbed as one of the best and most realistic anime of 2009.

Abingdon Boys School, stylized as abingdon boys school and abbreviated as a.b.s, is a Japanese rock band fronted by Takanori Nishikawa.  The band was formed in 2005.  Their name was in fact similar to a British independent school Abingdon School, in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, the all-male school where the rock band Radiohead was formed.

Now we feature on our JPop-JRock Music encore the song Kimi No Uta, the opening of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 from Abingdon Boys School.

Now here is a live version of Kimi No Uta performed during STAND UP! JAPAN right after the earthquake and tsunami whic hit the country in 2011.
