This weekend will surely be a busy week for cosplayers and Otakus since there will be 3 events coming up. First we have Hobby Fest 2012 at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga; then we have the 6th Backdoor Ventures Arts and Music Festival at Hall 4, SMX Convention Center, SM Mall Of Asia; and lastly we have the Visual Music Carnival on May 12 at Amoranto Stadium. Three events so better choose.
HOBBY FEST 2012. Hobbyfest is a yearly event done by Hobbiworx, the organizers of Tagcom. There will surely be an exciting cosplay events and lots of booths this year. Experience the thrill of cosplaying in Pampanga and meet other cosplayers here. For those who will join the venue will be at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga in front of SM City Pampanga.

6th BACKDOOR VENTURES ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL. You have to be early for this since the first 30 cosplayers to register on-site are entitled to a FREE ENTRANCE. The event will be at Hall 4, SMX Convention Center, SM Mall Of Asia. It is a 2-day event featuring the country’s top artists’ works and performances, the Backdoor Ventures Arts and Music Festival aims to awaken the art side of the public by immersing them to the world of the Arts.
Event Highlights include art exhibits; talks and workshops/clinics/demos on painting, photography, theater, voice, dance, guitar and drums conducted by ; a trade fair to buy and sell arts and music-related product, service or cause; musical live performances by some of the country’s best performers representing different genres and inspirations; dance performances from classical ballet to modern dance; laser light shows; art films; shadow play; and other exciting activities. VISUAL MUSIC CARNIVAL. An event this May 12, 2012 at Amoranto Stadium. Event starts at 12 noon and ends 12 midnight. There will also be an entrance fee of 150pesos which includes free rides, free skates, and free game tokens. Visual Music Carnival do include a cosplay competition but it highlights music and the skater culture.
