Naruto Cosplayers PH opens first ever cosplay event at SM City Masinag

Naruto Cosplayers PH supported the first ever cosplay event of SM City Masinag in Antipolo, Rizal, Saturday, August 13. The event was dubbed as Cosplay Nation: Cosplay Fashion at SM City Masinag. Nearly a hundred cosplayers attended the event with almost 50 contestants in the individual cosplay competition.

Don Robert Torio as Green Lantern, Best in Characterization

The winners in the competition includes Christian Umali who cosplayed as War Machine, Don Robert Torio as Green Lantern, Bolen Lareza, Ivan Valerio and another cosplayer who cosplayed a dancing castle.

Michael Jan Silva (Kisame Hoshikage), Nathaniel Ferrer (Master Pogi), and David D'Angelo (Mr. Incredible) hosted the event. A ramen eating contest was also sponsored by the local branch of Rairaiken.

Ryan Simbol, one of the veteran cosplayers in the country serves as one of the three judges for the competition. After the event, the crowd was eager to have another event at SM City Masinag and the mall confirmed that there will be more.
