Trivia: Dragonball Z Contributed to Erap's Impeachment

Did you know that there was a joke and even with some seriousness in it that the anger against Erap was fueled more by the removal of Dragonball Z from the primetime airing on GMA 7 in 2001?

The regular airing of Dragonball which features the Cell saga was stopped in order to give way to the live telecast of the Erap impeachment proceedings. Many anime fanatics or Otakus was really angered by this.
